FUENGIROLA
 FUENGIROLA is situated in the very heart of Costa del Sol, 29 km. from Málaga, 25 km. from the international airport and 27 km. from Marbella, and it is considered to be the best communicated town along the coast af Andalucía. Remains of ancient civilisations still endure within the municipal area of Fuengirola itself (Phoenician, Arabic and Roman). On the lower parts of the hill, where the Arabic castle is situated are the remains of a town which was Ibero-Punic in its origin and Roman later. This refers to a city known in antiquity by the name of Suel.
